Ewes grows with the acquisition
The 5th of July 2011 Ewes acquired the stocks in Skånska
Ferroal AB.
The acuisition was made with the aim of widening
the product portfolio within Ewes business area
Environment.
Both companies sees syngergies and good possibilities of
market growth on the world market together.
Anton Schön (CEO Ewes) will act as CEO
for Skånska Ferroal.
Skånska Ferroal will remain with its operations and design
department in Eslöv, Sweden.
But a new commercial marketing department will be built
in Bredaryd, Sweden.
Skånska Ferroal was founded in 1973 and originates
from Lunds Mekaniska Verkstad. By using the latin
abbreviations for the main materials used (iron and aluminum),
FERRO & AL, a suitable company name
was invented. Within tíme the company has developed more and
more into a specialist of conveyors.
